The last round at Llandow in Wales was a mixed bag, after timed qualifying 'Conset Kart' lined up on grid 2, missing pole position by just 0.08 of a second. 4th in the first race meant grid 4 for the pre-final, unfortuantely there was a mechanical problem causing massive break wear, a whole set of new brake pads were used up in the next race with a drop to 9th place. With time so short it was difficult to trace the problem, new brake pads were fitted but the speed from Saturday testing was gone and with the lap times for all drivers being so close 8th was the best possible in the 'A' Final.
Jim Rainbird driving the Conset Kart finished 5th in the UK Easykart championship with 834 points, meaning a donation by Interline UK to the Alzheimer's Society of £417.00
