Somerset provided a hot sunny weekend and the racing was certainly far more exciting to watch than Formula One was offering in Monaco
38 drivers lined up for timed qualifying in the Light Weight class and Conset Kart qualified 5th overall ..
The top 23 of 38 went straight through to the 'A' grid and Conset Kart lined up on grid 5, just 0.5 of a second per lap covered the top 23 grid places,.
A hard close first race followed resulting in 6th.
Now with grid 6 for the first main final, a good start and another hard battle resulting in 4th and a good clutch of points for the championship.
So Conset kart started from grid 4 for the second main final, 4th, 5th and 6th again battling through the race with 1st, 2nd and 3rd slightly ahead.
This time after 20 laps the positions reversed by the flag and Conset cart was 6th, 4th,5th and 6th seperated by only 0.5 of a second.
