Kent provided a mainly dry March weekend and the racing was certainly exciting to watch.

28 drivers lined up for timed qualifying in the Senior 172kg class and Conset Kart qualified 12th overall ..

0.1 of a second faster in qualifying would have move 'Conset kart' up the grid 5 places so the first race staring from grid 12 was going to be tough.

A hard close first race followed resulting in 6th place.

Now with grid 6 for the first main final, a good start and another hard battle resulted in 5th and a good clutch of points for the championship.

20 Minutes before the grand final the rain came down, all karts changed to wet tyres and settings, Conset kart started from grid 5 got a great start,

holding a tight line around the first 2 corners and fighting a path down the inside into the 3 corner and into the lead of the race on lap 1.

The laps counted down and 20 laps later with a lead of just over 1 second Conset Kart took the flag in 1st place, winning the first round main final.
